Winter Kitchen cooks up classic folk remedies and herb-driven elixirs that have been mixed for generations and which purport to ward off infection, reduce the severity of colds, and, in general, strengthen your immune system.

The winter of 2013 was a rough one for our family. Everyone had colds all season long. I decided to educate myself on how to stay healthy naturally, and began to experiment with ways that did not involve common medicines.

Soon I discovered generations-old recipes and stories, and I began to have fun learning about properties of plants and ingredients, spending time setting up batches and brews, tweaking the flavors to my own personal taste. And my family's health benefited greatly.

I set up Winter Kitchen to share those recipes with you. We craft in limited quantities, and in individually created batches.
